The school day begins at 8:45am for all pupils when the gates open.  Once through the main gates, the children enter and leave the school through one of 5 entrances - Early Years, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Years 4, 5 and 6 (the junior playground gate).  The gates stay open for 10 minutes and close at 8:55am to begin registration.  We stagger departure at the end of the day in order to avoid congestion with such a large school on our small site.  The days run as follows:

8:45 to 8:55:  Arrive at school

9:10: Registration closes

12:00 to 13:00:  Lunch for Reception, Year 1, 3 and 4

12:15 to 13:15: Lunch for Years 2, 5 and 6

15:10:  Finish for Reception children

15:15:  Finish for Years 1 and 2 

15:20: Finish for Years 3 to 6 

The total school week is 32 hours and 5 minutes for Reception, 32 hours and 30 minutes for Years 1 and 2 and 32 hours and 55 minutes for Years 5 and 6.
